Lunchbox Concert

A concert by students from Malvern College. Tea/coffee and cake available. Bring your own lunch at 12.30pm. Lunchbox is organised by The Friends, working together with the Priory.

Full Peal of Bells

Saturday 7th February 2026
10am
Starting at 10am a group of bellringers (local and visiting) will attempt a full peal of bells; they will ring Cambridge Surprise Royal (a complicated method in which all ten bells change places at every stroke - over 5000 times!)

Lunchbox: A Life of Stories

A talk by Steve Boffy on how stories have influenced his life, and why storytelling is so important for everyone. Tea/coffee and cake available. Bring your own lunch at 12.30pm. Lunchbox is organised by The Friends, working together with the Priory.

Women’s Breakfast

10am
An annual event for women in the Malvern area to get together and have a lovely breakfast and get to know each other. Our speaker this year is Priscilla Smith who will be talking about 'The Big Green Heart' which helps people to explore how and what to forgive, working in schools and with groups and individuals. This event will take place in the Lyttelton Rooms.

Passia

Monday 30th March 2026

The world premiere of Passia, a new composition by composer Liz Dilnot Johnson. Reimagining the Passion from the perspective of five women at the foot of the cross, Passia will be performed by renowned singers Papagena and the National Children's Choir of Great Britain, alongside Lenten vocal music.

Elgar Festival Relaxed Concert with DownsideUp

An hour-long concert full of beautiful music as part of Dementia Action Week performed by DownsideUp (cello and bass) These relaxed performances are particularly suited to those living with dementia and other similar health conditions, adults and children with additional learning needs, their carers and anybody who wishes to experience classical music in a relaxed and informal environment.

Elgar Festival ESO String Orchestra concert

7pm; Pre-concert talk with Kenneth Woods and Nicholas Daniel at 6.15pm
Join the internationally renowned English Symphony Orchestra for their annual festival strings concert. Featuring Elgar’s Serenade for Strings, In Moonlight and Chanson de Nuit alongside Schoenberg’s 1899 lush and lyrical masterpiece Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night), Sibelius’s Rakastava and Thea Musgrave’s Night Windows with star oboe soloist Nicholas Daniel.

Monteverdi Vespers

Cambridge Renaissance Voices join forces with The Musical and Amicable Society on period instruments to bring to life the golden age of Venetian music, when St Mark’s Basilica echoed to the sound of Monteverdi’s Vespers and music by his forerunner Giovanni Gabrieli.

A Night at the Opera

A wonderful array of well loved operatic pieces with sensational soloists Harriet Burns, soprano; Marta Fontanals-Simmons; mezzo soprano, and brilliant accompanist Waiyan Lee. They join the highly acclaimed Cheltenham Bach choir under the exceptional musical direction of David Crown.  A concert not to be missed.
