Lifepath
23rd - 27th June 2025

If you’re visiting the Priory…

you’ll find it’s all a bit different this week.

For one week only, each year in June, the Priory returns to its Benedictine roots to bring its history and heritage alive for children in primary education.

This week we’ll be welcoming over 600 children and their teachers for action-packed living history, from Mediaeval Medicine to Calligraphy, Mediaeval Codebreaking to Architecture, Brass-rubbing to Bellringing, and the Prayer Journey that underlies it all…(and that’s just a taster)

So if it’s you that’s coming to Lifepath this week ‘Hi! Welcome’, we’re really looking forward to welcoming you to Great Malvern Priory.

And if you’re not a Lifepath-er, you’ll find the Priory rather different, with the chatter of groups of children learning from the volunteers, punctuated by bells and silence, songs and activities. Just before lunch there’s the Lifepath Play, where a Bible story is brought to life by a group of enthusiastic amateur thespians.

For everyone’s safety, photography is not permitted whilst the children are on site.
